What are the fees with Paypal?

If you use paypal I thought you (the seller) were always charged a fee? Is it higher when the person is using cc or echeck?

I'm not sure that all paypal accounts are the same, but I know with mine I don't get charged a fee if the person is paying with funded paypal (money already in their paypal account) but I do get charged the fee if they pay by check or credit card.

As a seller paypal charges a very small charge when you receive a payment.


For instance, if I sell a shirt on etsy and after shipping prices it comes to $18.99, paypal takes something like 80 cents.
